The journey so far.....

Moon Star Magic is the result of two people who had a dream. After being together for only a couple of weeks, Danielle and Anthony decided to do what every couple / individual wants, 'what they like, and hopefully make a living doing it'. With no money and little know how they left their 9 to 5 jobs and began. Using second hand clothing that they cut up for fabric, they painstakingly learnt by trial and error, what worked and what did not. After a few months they were ready to take a chance. They decided to take what few garments they had to Brisbane's 'Southbank Markets' to see what would happen. The next couple of weeks were encouraging, but it wasn't until the Easter weekend that they were truly inspired. An overwhelming response by the public left them in total awe of what they had started, and what could be accomplished.

Slowly but surely they grew. They started using first grade quality fabrics, and with government assistance were able to start manufacturing at a larger scale. Three years later the first Moon Star Magic Boutique was opened, and from day one it shone like the moon. Regarded now as one of the best in their field, they've found themselves selling their clothing for more formal functions than casual, medieval weddings and school formals making up a greater part of their business.

Moon Star Magic clothing is not gothic and not hippy. They're beautiful garments made for modern day, with a definite medieval style / feel about them. These Australian hand made garments are professionally finished and come in a large range of styles, colours and sizes. The mix and match choices are endless, and the low prices make it an affordable way to dress.

Having never advertised, and always relying on word of mouth, the thought of going on the net is scary yet exciting. The speed and growth of the business thus far has been overwhelming, if not magical, and I'd personally like to thank everyone who has supported us so far, as well as those of you who will in the future.
